Do Business Associates Sign Annual Agreements?

No. You do not need to get new business associate agreements (BAA) singed every year. In fact, you only need to get it signed once at the beginning of your vendor relationship.
The latest version of the "official" business associate agreement (BAA) went into effect January, 2013. Therefore, agreements you have signed after 2013 should be valid.
The only caveat to this would be if there is a major regulatory change in the future; however, H.H.S. has not made any announcements regarding such.
